MEMBERS CURRENTLY SURCHARGING

All principals are required, by law (the Package Travel Regulations), to comply with the following rules if they want to impose a surcharge on a package holiday:

  1. they must have the correct wording in their booking conditions;
  2. they must absorb an amount equal to 2% of the holiday cost; and
  3. they can't impose a surcharge inside 30 days of departure.

ABTA requires its Members to comply with the law. The following is a list of Members that comply in terms of booking conditions and the calculation of the surcharge, and that have notified ABTA that they intend to surcharge.
